The weekly updates from the student council is the easiest way to stay updated on what's going on in the student council.
This site will be updated weekly with the minutes from the last meeting.

Helge opened the meeting.
Details for the elf-day:
All posters have been hung up in time - very good!
We will watch Home Alone on the elf-day, since most people in MYP voted for this movie.
General details were discussed.
The movie will roll at the same time in two rooms, to make enough space for everyone. DVD's will be brought by Torbjørn and Kjersti.
The students can choose room themselves.
Guide on how to dress during the winter:
The principal at KIS, Ms. Catherine Jolly, have asked the student council to make a guide on how to dress during the cold, Norwegian winter.
The guide will be given to the parents of students at KIS that has not experienced the Norwegian winter before.
The student council has agreed to make this guide. We will use pictures to illustrate the guide.
We will come back to this in the beginning of 2011.
Different positions in the student council
We should make a template for the different positions in the student council, and make it clear who has the different positions this year.
Examples of positions in the student council is leader, reporter, economy responsable, and board representative. We would also like a group of people to arrange events, KISLO (KIS Libary Organization), Road Patrol, and PYP-members of the student council.
This year we have Helge as leader, Torbjørn as reporter and webmaster, Isabella as responsable for economics, Birgir as board-rep, and Gunhild and Kristina in Road Patrol. Guri Kristine and Signe is the leader in the events-group.
We would also like some kind of organization chart with described positions (how to, plan and organize) on it.
All the members of the student council with any type of particular responsabilities are supposed to write these described details and send to torbjorn.bergen@hotmail.no (for the website), as well as hbjorl@hotmail.com as a copy to the leader.
Please do this as good as possible, it will be used in the future as well!

KISLO need to get up posters and do their planned activity.
We will ask them for more information on the next meeting.

GREAT YEAR FOR THE KIS STUDENT COUNCIL!
Helge, the leader of the student council, sums up the year.
This has been a great year for the student council.
We have managed everything on our own, even though we have got a lot of good help from ms. Weeden.
We have managed to get a lot of things going, and will probably get a lot of good results next year as well :-)
Much better than last year!
