The weekly updates from the student council is the easiest way to stay updated on what's going on in the student council.
This site will be updated weekly with the minutes from the last meeting.

Weekly update from the student council meeting 04.12.11

Happy new year!
Helge opened the meeting by wishing the student council members a happy new year.
He also very quickly summed up a few things from the year that has gone, as well as giving information about what will need to be done from the student council in the next few months. 

How to dress up in the winter - the student council are making a guide:
The student council has been asked by the principal to design a guide for families that are new to the cold, Norwegian winter. The student council has accepted the task given, and will start the guide as soon as possible. 
Andrea and Aurora will start to take pictures very soon. They will need a couple of lessons off to do this. They also need permission of the parents of the children they are photographing. This will not be a problem.
Kjersti will bring clothes that the "models" can use to illustrate how to dress up.
This will be brought up again in the next student council meeting. 

Student council organization chart / template:
Some members of the student council have been asked to write about their position and responsabilities in the student council.
They were asked to do this for next week, so the template can be ready soon. If you have a lot to do on school, you should prioritize your schoolwork, but please hand it in to Helge (hbjor@hotmail.com) and to Torbjørn (torbjorn.bergen@hotmail.no) as soon as possible.

Fun-day: Squeeze one more fun-day in before the ski-day
We are going to press in one more fun-day before the ski-day. 

Ski-day 
11th of March is not reported in to Hege yet. This will be done by Helge before the next meeting.
Kjersti thinks there might be an activity day for PYP in Bevergrenda this day, and if it is, MYP will need to participate as well.
We discussed the how many the school needed to rent equipment for and other small problems. We will come back to this in the next meeting.

Ski-day economical information:

We have 3000, and will get in money from another cake sale, another fun-day, as well as Torbjørns Personal Project.
This should be enough.
